Green diplomacy unites the concept of civil society with the requirements for a sustainable environment, based on an understanding that neither  can be secured without the other.  Green diplomacy also recognizes that the critical issues we are dealing with, including water, energy supplies, air quality, transportation, food security etc. do not stop and start at jurisdictional borders.  We believe it requires a new, integrated Green Diplomacy approach to find fresh and effective solutions to these concerns.
